First off, I want to send a big "Thank you" out to all of our veterans...including my own special veteran.
I apologize for not posting for a few days, but things have been hectic. We all greatly enjoyed the Fall Festival at New Middleton last weekend and Michael came home with two nice big prizes.
Things are quiet right now and will post more as things pick up. I know everyone is getting ready for Thanksgiving.

November 5, 2010
Cold today! Our weather has turned cool and they even predict a possibility of some snow flurries on the plateau. Winter is coming. Guess it is time to finish getting all the winter clothes out and the summer clothes put away.

November 6, 2010 will be the Fall Festival at New Middleton School in Gordonsville, TN. They will be having a tradition Thanksgiving dinner ($7.00) and lots of games and prizes for the kids. Remember the old fashioned cake walk? Well, they will be having a Toy walk for the kids. All funds from the Fall Festival will go toward new equipment for the school. The festival starts at 6pm. For adult fun, there will be drawings for gift baskets and a silent auction. Gather up the family, come out and have a good time, and help support the school.
